Ronald Michael Harden

February 26, 1947 - December 5, 2009

Harden, Ronald Michael, 62 of Midwest City died December 5, 2009 in Oklahoma City. Born in Pennsylvania to George & Mary Harden. In his youth, Ron was a member of the Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Ron was an avid hunter and sportsman and earned the nickname 'Rocket' for his athleticism. Ron proudly served in the Vietnam War where he flew many combat hours and was awarded the Distinguish Flying Cross. He retired from the USAF with the rank of Lt Col. Ron is survived by his wife, Patricia and his two sons, Michael and Brian. Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Friday, December 11, 2009 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Disabled American Veterans, 2311 N. Central 1000 B, Oklahoma City, OK 73105.
