John Louis Hansford

July 31, 1942 - October 20, 2020

John Louis Hansford, 78, passed away October 20, 2020. He was born July 31, 1942, in Hampton, Virginia, to Louis and Ida Hansford.
John was a loving husband and father. He was employed with Bridgestone/ Firestone for 25 years. He served his country with the United States Air Force. John loved attending church, gardening, and especially loved his family.
John is survived by his three sons; Daniel and wife LaDonna Lacy, Doyle and wife Kathy Lacy, and Delmer Lacy, 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara, one daughter, Debbie, one son, Dale, one granddaughter, one grandson, one great-granddaughter, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 24, at the Bill Eisenhour SE Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
