Barbara I. Hansford

Barbara I. Hansford, 68, OKC, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 26, 2001. She was born to Farley Henry, Sr. and Locie Nan (Wood) Bales, on May 17, 1933, in Stigler, OK. Barbara married John Hansford, on March 7, 1975, in Elizabeth City, NC, and is survived by him. Other survivors include a daughter, Deborah Marshall & husband, Edgar of Harrah, OK; 4 sons, Dale & wife, Jackie Lacy, Daniel Lacy & LaDonna, Doyle & Delmer Lacy, all of OKC; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Betty Warren of Cleveland, OH; brother, Farley Henry Bales, Jr. from Bessemer, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 2 grandchildren. Barbara attended Crossroads Cathedral, loved to make crafts, especially dolls, ceramics & crocheting and collected frogs. She was a very loving wife and mother and very dedicated to her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. She was the "glue" that kept the family together. Services are 1:00 PM, Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, with burial in Arlington Memory Gardens.
