Jon Arthur Hall

May 21, 1931 - June 21, 2010

Hall, Jon Arthur, 79, of OKC, died in his sleep at the Norman Vets Ctr on Mon. June 21, 2010. He was born May 21, 1931, to Avery and Edna Hall in Long Dale, OK. Jon graduated from Fairview HS in 1949. He served in the US Army from 1951 to 1952, then went on to serve in the US Air Force from 1955 to 1958. Jon worked for, and retired from the US Postal Service. Jon was married to Jacqueline Roach on Jan. 31, 1958. She preceded him in death in Feb. of 1999. Also preceding him in death were: daughter Christina Spencer, daughter Melody Suminski, granddaughter Amy Cotten, and sister Gloria Hall. Jon is survived by: brothers Dean Hall and Rodger Hall, sisters Irene Miller and Marjorie McKinney, son Mike Roach, grandsons Robert Spencer, Donald Spencer, Jon Cotten, and Kevin Cotten, granddaughters Nicole Roach and Lindsey Roach, and great-grandson Caleb Cotten.
