Pearl Z. Gunsallis

September 29, 1930 - April 14, 2020

Pearl Zelda Gunsallis passed away on April 14, 2020. She was born in Greene Township, Pennsylvania on September 29, 1930 to Russel and Margaret (Schaffer) Holdren. She grew up in Clinton County, Pennsylvania and had 8 siblings. When she was 14, she met Arthur Gunsallis in Sugar Valley through friends of theirs. On June 7, 1947 they were married, and were together until his passing in 2016.
Pearl worked at the John A. Brown department store for many years. She loved to sew and spend time with her family. She was a very caring and loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Margaret, and husband, Arthur.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Gunsallis (wife Denise); daughter, Cindy Dennis (husband Don); three granddaughters, Leatha O'Steen (husband Chris), Jennifer Sweet (husband Matt), and Misty Clark (husband Curtis); one grandson, Michael Gunsallis; 3 great-granddaughters, Hailie Reed, Abigail Clark, and Madalyn Clark; 3 great-grandsons, Austin Sweet, Ayden Sweet and Kaden Reed; and many other family and friends.
There will be a private graveside service on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Arlington Memory Gardens.
