Mary Ann Greetham

September 18, 1938 - January 21, 2014

Mary Ann was born in Fannin County, Texas to George and Eunice Holloway on September 18, 1938. Gifted and devoted to music all of her life, she enlisted in the Air Force and played clarinet for The 543rd Air Force Band, the first and only Women"s Air Force Band. After her discharge, Mary Ann remained musically active in community bands, bell choirs, and choral groups. While in the WAF, she caught the eye of Airman Robert (Bob) Greetham. They married and were together for 52 years up until his passing last November. In addition to Bob, Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Herman. She is survived by her sister, Patsy Thompson, cousin Sylvia (Laverne) Seymour, niece, LeeAnn Bentancourt, and nephew Carl Wheless. Mary and Bob both cherished the support of friends Troy & Helen, Larry and Gaylia, Beverly, Marilyn, and many others who joined them at McDonalds or Carl"s Jr. for breakfast or Golden Corral for dinner.
