Michele Gammon

December 5, 1958 - February 15, 2023

Today, we celebrate the life of Michele Gammon, age 64, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, who was welcomed into heaven on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
Michele was born on December 5, 1958, to Joe McClure and Mary Emma McClure in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of 6 siblings: Betty Owens (nickname #1), Martha Severson (nickname #2), Sally Fiorillo (nickname #3), Scott McClure (nickname #4), Mary Jane Ashton (nickname #5), and Michele (nickname #6 or Chele). In 1997, she received her Bachelor of General Studies degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. In January 1982, she met Scott Gammon, whom she married later that year on November 26th. Together, they took vacations, including road trips, random excursions to new restaurants, and to Israel. They are the proud parents of two sons, Joshua Charles Gammon and Brady Josiah Gammon.
Michele went on to devote her time to being a loving wife and mother, working with Visiting Angels, working in the school cafeteria, working with Meals on Wheels, and being a teacher's aide. Michele loved going to the beach, traveling with her husband and family, arts and crafts, playing with her dog, Winston, shopping for every Vera Bradley blanket that she could find, gardening, being involved in church activities, laughing with her sisters, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Michele is survived by her husband (Scott), her sons (Joshua and Brady), her daughters-in-law (Macy and Tiffiney), her grandchildren (Stephen, Phillip, Ryleigh, and Mia), her sisters (Betty, Martha, Sally, and Mary Jane), along with nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father (Joe McClure), mother (Mary Emma McClure), brother (Scott McClure), and brothers-in-law (Roger Ashton, Ernie Owens, Don Fiorillo, and John Mark Gammon).
As we remember the many ways that she impacted each of our lives, she will always be loved and missed. Rest with God, Michele.
