Beverly May Johnson Gallant

February 17, 1930 - April 21, 2003

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 24,2003 at 2 PM, in Smith & Turner Chapel of Yukon with burial in Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City.
Beverly Johnson was born February 17, 1930 in St. Joseph, Missouri and passed away Monday April 21, 2003 in Oklahoma City at the age of 73.
She had moved to Midwest City in 1956, coming from Kansas City, and then moving to Yukon in 1987. Beverly had been a Deputy Clerk in The Oklahoma County Court House for over 30 years and had been a strong mentor for the younger staff.
She was a member of the Town & Country Christian Church in Yukon, and was very active in the activities at Spanish Cove Retirement Center, where she was considered to be the "domino queen" during Thursday night games and was a very vibrant singer in their choir.
She had also had a strong leadership role in the Democratic League of Women's Voters in the metro area. Other interests included traveling and dancing.
Beverly is survived by her sons & spouses, Steve & Candy Gallant of Edmond, Danny Gallant of Moore, Mike & Kathy Gallant of Allen, TX, Pat Gallant of Phoenix, AZ, and David Hudson of Midwest City; daughters, Tami Kirk and husband, Sid of Yukon and Michelle Stull of Tecumseh; a brother, Dr. William Johnson & his wife, Barbra Ann of Jefferson City, MO; & 24 grandchildren.
