Ruby Bernice Fullbright

December 8, 1927 - September 27, 2020

Ruby was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on December 8th, 1927 and her home going was on September 27th, 2020. She is proceeded in death by both her parents, Jewel and Clyde Ashlock and her husband, James K. Fullbright and her Grandparents, Bessie and Huse Houston. Ruby attended Mussin School. She married James Fullbright in February, 1943. Ruby is survived in death by her Brother, Jack Rodgers, her Daughter, Linda Whitehead, her son, Mike Fullbright. Ruby is survived by 5 Grandchildren: David Whitehead, Kim Ashley, Cindy Wills, Jennifer Moore and Brian Fullbright. Ruby is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren and 11 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Ruby moved to Midwest City in 1950 where she remained until she went to her heavenly home. Ruby was known for her great work ethic. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base for 20 years, Mid-Del Schools for 10 years, and Dillard’s Fine Jewelry in Midwest City for 5 years. Ruby was the Worthy Matron of Galilee Eastern Star. Some of her fondest memories were spending time with her family. Some of her hobbies include Square Dancing, Reading, Riding Horses, Listening to Music and Cooking for her family. She absolutely loved animals, especially her dogs. Ruby devoted her life to her family but also loved the Lord. Ruby loved to read her Bible. Her love for the Lord was evident in the way she cared for her family. She had a passion for collecting Angels. Ruby will be dearly missed.
Services will be at 2:30 PM, Friday, October 2nd, 2020 at Ford Funeral Home, at 305 S. Sooner Rd., Midwest City, Ok. 73110.
Visitation will be Wed 9-8 PM and Thurs 9-5 PM with the family present to greet friends from 5-7 PM at Ford Funeral Home at 305 S. Sooner Rd., Midwest City, Ok.
Interment to be held at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd, OK 73141.
