Sherry C. Dyer

December 15, 1946 - July 26, 2020

Sherry C. Dyer was born December 15, 1946, in Dayton, Tennessee, and left this earth on July 26, 2020. She was the daughter of C.L. and Frances Colbaugh. She graduated from Rhea Central High School in 1964, and moved to Oklahoma with her family shortly after. She married Bob Kellington in 1968 and their daughter, Dana, was born in 1972. Sherry worked at Tinker Air Force Base, last serving as Base Housing Officer.
She married Ken Dyer in 1982 and became stepmom to Shelby. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, floral arranging, reading, tending her garden, and working with new friends at Teaching Textbooks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Dana and her son-in-law Chris Byrne, and her husband Ken. She is survived by her brother Tim Colbaugh, her stepdaughter Shelby Maloy (Dan), her granddaughter Samantha Hanni (Kurtis), and her grandson Taylor Maloy (Hilary) great-granddaughter Noel, and her dog Buddy, along with many Tennessee family members.
She was a tender beautiful soul and she loved her family and friends deeply.
