Bonnie Ellen Davis

April 25, 1941 - June 20, 2020

Bonnie Ellen Davis passed away on June 20, 2020 in Oklahoma City. Bonnie was born to John Paul Mattison Sr. and Mabel Lorraine Brewer on April 25, 1941 in Tulsa, OK.
She was saved by the blood of Jesus Christ and followed in His footsteps every day. Bonnie attended Country Estates Baptist Church in Midwest City.
She went to Berryhill High School, where she played basketball in the late 1950s. In 1959, Bonnie graduated from Berryhill High School in Tulsa, OK. She went on to have a career in the automotive warehouse industry at Distributors Warehouse and O'Reily's Distribution Center in Oklahoma City.
Bonnie's favorite hobbies included, crocheting, quilting, playing BINGO, watching OU girls sports and the OKC Thunder, sewing clothes for her grandchildren, and spending time with family.
She loved spending so much time with her family, Bonnie frequently made trips all the way to Battle Creek, MI to visit her daughter, Dianna, and grandchildren. Bonnie even went on a recent trip with her daughter, Teresa, and husband, Randy, to Branson, MO and enjoyed spending time and seeing the sights with her family.
Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. On February 14, 1984, she married Kenneth Fred Davis. Her greatest achievement in life was giving birth to 3 daughters. Bonnie will always be remembered and appreciated for her Christmas gifts of frosted sugar cookies and handmade gifts for her grandchildren and friends. She also will be remembered for her mustard potato salad and secret recipe turkey dressing at Christmas and Thanksgiving that were passed down from her mother.
Bonnie's daughters remember when she was a volunteer group leader for the Campfire Organization when they were young; as well as volunteering at their schools in Moore. She also volunteered at Hospice Quality Care on South Sooner Road in Midwest City.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents John Paul Mattison Sr. and Mabel Lorraine Brewer Mattison Bell; her husband Kenneth Fred Davis; her oldest daughter Connie R Vaughn; brother John P Mattison Jr. and spouse Phyllis Mattison; brother Tommy Mattison and spouse Carolyn Mattison; brother Ronnie D Mattison; and many beloved Aunts, Uncles, and cousins from the Brewer and Mattison families of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Bonnie is survived by daughter Dianna Linn Calbaugh and spouse Leroy W Calbaugh; daughter Teresa Louise Sand and spouse Randy K Sand; grandchildren Jason T Ayres, Bradley S Ayres, Katherine L Ayres, Randy K Sand, Steven K Sand, Staci M Sand; and great grandchild Rylynn Sand.
