Kenneth Gene Cummings

September 3, 1932 - September 14, 2009

Cummings, Kenneth Gene, 77, of Midwest City, died September 14, 2009. He was born September 3, 1932, in Allen, Oklahoma to Ralph and Mary Cummings. He served in the US Air Force, and upon discharge was employed at Tinker AFB as a Logistics Manager of B-52 airplanes until his retirement in 1988. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Midwest City, taught Sunday School, coached little league baseball, and enjoyed golf, fishing, and bowling. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosemarie; his two sons, Lloyd and wife Janice and Lyn and wife Misti; his brother, Bill and wife Dorthie; five grandchildren, Emily, Ashley, Kevin, Allison, and Steven; as well as many nieces and nephews. Family will be accepting friends Wednesday, September 16, from 5 to 7 PM at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Arlington Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association.
