Alice June Copenhaver

June 2, 1944 - September 16, 2020

Alice June Stephenson Brown Copenhaver
Alice June Copenhaver was met by the loving arms of Jesus September 15th, 2020.
She was born on June 2, 1944, in Galesburg, IL, to Earl Eugene and Gladys Irene Stephenson. She graduated from Midwest City High School and Rose State College. She was retired from the Oklahoma State Department of Veterans Affairs where she worked as an accountant. She was known for her kindness, her generosity, her strength, her faith, and her loving nature. Preceded in death by her parents, Earl Eugene and Gladys Irene (Wood) Stephenson; her husband, Eugene Lee Copenhaver. Survived by daughters, Cassandra (Richard) McDowell, Stephanie Brown, and Amy (John) Huegel; grandchildren, Zachary (Yun Mi) McDowell, Robin McDowell, Joshua (Susan) English, Jayde Harjo, Matthew English, Shawnee Harjo, Madlyn Huegel; great-grandchildren, Joslynn English, Wooin Kaeden McDowell, Kane Harjo, Mykeal English, Berlynn McCracken, Ahin Luke McDowell, Marsika English, Nicholas Porter, Alexander Porter, Axl Harjo; sisters, Elaine Weatherford, Carol (Trey) Clure. Already she is greatly missed. In place of flowers, if you wish, she liked to help with donations whether it was a monetary donation or clothing, etc. to Special Olympics and Shriners Hospital. Come-and-go Visitation for Alice will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bill Eisenhower Funeral Home, 8805 N.E. 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK. Services will be held at Bill Eisenhower Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.
