Sharon Kay Cochran

Sharon Kay Cochran, 67, passed away surrounded by family in her home on August 1, 2020. She was born on January 7, 1953, in Cushing, OK. She was the daughter of Lee and Charlotte (Harper) Bobo. She had one older sister, Delores Allen. After she graduated from Stroud High School she married Tommy Cochran. They had one daughter, Kimberly, and lived in Midwest City. They were married for 39 years until his passing in 2012. Sharon worked for the city of Midwest City and Dolese as a Data Entry Clerk until her retirement in 2013. She loved to read, crochet, and work with ceramics. She especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She bravely battled leukemia for the last 2 years of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and husband. Sharon is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Chris Johnston and 2 grandchildren, Kailey and Aiden Johnston of Oklahoma City, as well as nieces, nephews, and a host of family members and friends. She will be greatly missed however, she is with her Savior and free of pain.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2020, at the Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home Chapel, Oklahoma City, OK with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, OK.
