Charles Clampitt

October 11, 1928 - May 17, 2017

Charles "Charlie" Eston Clampitt, 88, passed away May 17, 2017 surrounded by family. He was born October 11, 1928 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Edd Clampitt and Margaret (Rynders) Clampitt.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Hall) Clampitt; daughters, Beth Davis and husband George, and Julie Evans and husband Roger; sister, Margaret Hannamon; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many wonderful friends.
Charles served his country in the Army and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. He loved gardening and playing bluegrass music. He had a wonderful life and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Charlie is now in heaven pickin' and grinnin.' Visitation will be Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 3:00pm - 6:00 pm at Ford Funeral Service, with services to follow 10:00am Monday, May 22, 2017 in the Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
