Joanne Carr

July 24, 1932 - April 13, 2008

Joanne (Jennie) Carr, 75 of Spencer, loving mother and grandmother passed away on Saturday April 12, 2008. She was born to Giovanni & Concetta (Dellamedaglia) Caruso on July 24, 1932 in Wilmington, DE. She was a homemaker but retired from Hartford Insurance Co. Joanne belonged to the Catholic Daughters, was involved helping with Mobile Meals and very much enjoyed being with her family and grandkids. Joanne is survived by her son Dean Carr, Jr; 3 daughters: Donna Mobbs, Doris King, Diana Volquardsen, 9 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 4 sisters: Angeline Cicchetti, Theresa Atallion & husband Floyd, Pasqueline Pulci all of Delaware, Marie Julian of Kentucky, 1 brother Dominick Caruso of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Dean Carr, Sr. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, 4/17/2008 at the Funeral Home Chapel with Mass service at 10:00 AM Thursday, 4/18/2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Nicoma Park with burial at Arlington Cemetery.
