William D. Bill Burnett

March 4, 1923 - September 30, 2011

William D. "Bill" Burnett Burnett, William Dale, 88, of Choctaw, went to be with the Lord 9/30/11. Born 3/4/23 in Durant, OK to William David and Amy June. Bill grew up in Durant, Muskogee, and Little Rock, AR. He served in the Navy during WWII as a signalman on a Mine Sweeper. He married Dorothy Louise Bollinger on 6/13/47. He sold Life Insurance, retired from Tinker as a parts warehouse manager, served as a deacon & loved sharing his faith in Jesus Christ. He later met and married Ethel Fizzel on 3/24/90. Bill is survived by his wife Ethel, sister Pat Bess, children Don, David, Sandie, Becki, 9 grandchildren, 3 step daughters Janet, Anne, and Marla, and numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Tue. 10/4/11 at 10:00 at Choctaw Road Baptist w/ interment at Arlington Cemetery.
