Judith Irene Burkett

January 26, 1938 - March 24, 2009

Burkett, Judith Irene 71, of Maud, OK passed away March 24, 2009. Born to Emmet and Opal Fowler on January 26, 1938. Judith was a true fighter; she battled many life challenges including cancer. One of Judith's favorite hobbies is crocheting. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Judith is preceded in death by her parents and son John Chevalier. She is survived by her husband of 42 plus years Robert, sons: Robert Burkett, Jr. and wife Beth of Pauls Valley, OK, Michael Burkett and wife Julie of Wanette, OK, and Kenneth Burkett and wife Becky of Arkansas City, KS; grandchildren: Austin, Bobby, Clayton, Dustin, Chasity, Jamie, Kendra, and Joshua Burkett, Devin and Cody Messenger and Billy Chevalier; brother: Emmet Fowler and wife Judy and John Fowler and wife Robena; sister: Charlotte Freeland; nieces and nephews: Ronnie, Linda, Tommy and Bobby Freeland and Cindy Meadors and numerous others. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
