Harriett Elizabeth Browning

November 24, 1925 - May 20, 2016

Harriett Elizabeth Browning, age 90, of Harrah, OK, was born November 24, 1925, in Coalgate, OK. She was the daughter of Arthur Chester & Dollie Mabel (Fain) Johnson. She left this life on Friday, May 20, 2016, in Oklahoma City, OK. Harriett worked at FAA & VA and retired from Tinker AFB where she was a mechanic. She was a member of the Choctaw Church of the Nazarene. Harriett enjoyed doing genealogy and her church activities. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray, son, Bob Browning and sister Mary Hroch. Survivors include 3 sons, Ed Marshall, Hilton Head, SC, Don Browning, Little Axe, OK, Allen Browning, Tecumseh, OK; 2 daughters, Karen Heffley, Harrah, OK, Rhona Vanburskirk, Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Martha Goodwin, Oklahoma City, OK; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, May 23, 2016, at Smith-Parks Funeral Service, 2039 N. Tim Holt Dr., Harrah, OK. Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene, Choctaw, OK. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
