Harold Arthur Brownback

September 15, 1932 - December 24, 2007

Harold Arthur Brownback of Midwest City, OK passed away December 24, 2007. Harold was born September 15, 1932 in Centerville, Kansas to Lawrence and Sylvia Brownback. He was a member of Meadowood Baptist Church. Harold was a kind and gentle man who loved his family and friends deeply. Harold retired with 42 years of service as an Aircraft Mechanic in the USAF and later Civil Service as an NDI Specialist. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Harold is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mandy of the home; Daughters: Vickie Wright and her husband Len of Mustang, OK; Judy Oyer and her husband Tim of Frisco, TX; Grandchildren: Matthew Oyer, Lance Wright and Lyndee Wright; Brothers: Eldon Brownback of Omaha, NE; Gene Brownback of Ellsworth, KS; Sister, Kathleen Phillips of Mound City, KS; Nephews: Steven, David, Robert Lynn and Paul Brownback as well as many additional friends and family members. Services for Harold will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 28th at Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Arlington Memory Gardens. The family would like to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday the 27th from 6-8 p.m. The family would also like to express gratitude to our many friends for their prayers and support. Special thanks as well to all the staff of Midwest Regional Medical Center and particularly the ICU for their dedicated and compassionate care and the doctors for their tireless efforts.
