Bobby Wayne Brown

October 10, 1934 - October 16, 2020

Bobby Wayne Brown of Del City was born on October 10, 1934 in Tishomingo OK to Jerry and Hattie (Woods) Brown. In October 1957 he married Bettye Jean Schave and they had one child, Cheryl. Bob went to heaven on October 16, 2020 at the age of 86. Bob was 7th of 9 children and had 6 stepbrothers, a stepsister, a half sister and brother. Bob was senior class president at Rattan High School graduating in 1953 then attending Murray State College in Tishomingo before entering the Air Force in 1954. He proudly served his country for over 26 years achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. After retiring he worked than 15 years in Civilian Personnel at Tinker Air Force Base retiring again to be Great-Grandad to Braden, Brylen, Baylor and Averi. Bob also served as a Sunday School teacher for over 35 years teaching 2nd & 3rd graders and sharing his love of Jesus with them. He loved his church family and served them well. Bob is survived by his daughter Cheryl Mikes & husband Greg, Del City, granddaughters Amy Mikes, Moore, OK and Emilee Little, OKC, Great Grands Braden Mikes, Brylen Stewart, Baylor Stewart and Averi Little. His sisters Billie Brown, University Place WA and Ann Blake & husband Paul, Plano TX. Numerous nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Bob dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Bettye Jean (Schave) Brown in 2016, 2 brothers, his half-brother and 6 sisters.
