Tolbert Christian Anderson

March 18, 1925 - December 8, 2011

Tolbert C. Anderson took his final voyage in comfort and peace December 8, 2011 reuniting with his wife, Margaret and son, Steve. Born March 18, 1925 in Norman, Oklahoma and residing the last 64 years in Midwest City where he raised loving children; daughter, Sharon Anderson Reames, son, Michael Anderson and daughter, Anita Anderson Doyle. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren that he adored and enjoyed. He had very special bonds with brothers; Bob Watts and wife Dixie, Bill Lonsway, and Jim Watts. Toby was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy serving in the South Pacific. After the war he joined the Santa Fe Railroad from which he retired after 43 years. His unconditional love and smiling face will be missed immensely. Services will be held December 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Barnes & Freiderich Funeral Home in Midwest City interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery.
