Bertha O. Aaron

February 27, 1922 - March 27, 2017

Bertha Orene Aaron, age 95, of Shawnee, OK, was born February 27, 1922, in Mount Ida, AR. She was the daughter of Cleveland Henry & Gracie (Reed) Bates. She left this life on Monday, March 27, 2017, in Shawnee, OK.
Bertha married Clarence James Aaron in 1944, in Henryetta, OK. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed cooking, sewing, planting flowers, fishing and watching horse races.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 5 siblings.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Jerry & Sandra Aaron, Harrah, OK; 3 grandchildren, Tammy Rogers, Gerimia & husband, Shawn Mandoza, Dustin & wife, Katie Aaron; 7 great-grandchildren, William, Kasey, Matthew, Emmie, Stone, Justice, Tricia & wife, Kabrina Bell and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, April 3, 2017, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
