CHARLES L. WEISS, 89ER, ANSWERS FINAL SUMMONS

   Charles L. Weiss, a well-known farmer and an 89er, died at an Oklahoma City hospital Tuesday, aged 72 years. For many years Mr. Weiss had resided on his farm three miles southeast of Edmond. One of the well-known early settlers of this section, Weiss came to Oklahoma from Missouri in 1889. He came to the midwest with his parents at the age of 3 years from Warrenburg, Germany. Since 1889 he had lived on his homesteaded farm.
   Funeral services will be held at the Christian church, Sunday, at 2:30 p. m. and will be conducted by Rev. Pettit. Baggerley Funeral directors are in charge.
   Mr. Weiss is survived by seven sons and one daughter, Lawrence, Don, Paul, Roscoe and Williford; of Edmond; Ernest and Wesley of Los Angeles and Mrs. J. L. Shade, Edmond.
   Burial will be in the family cemetery at Witcher.
