BEATRICE ELIZABETH MITCHELL
1935-2008
Beatrice Elizabeth Mitchell, 73, born August 31, 1935 passed away on October 14, 2008.
Beatrice was a member of the Eastern Star, Harmony Chapter and PTA.
She was a member of Capitol Hill Assembly of God Church.
She was an excellent cook and enjoyed baking. Beatrice was a favorite at the OKC Fire Station #1 and was known as "Aunt Bea". But most of all she loved taking care of her family to include taking her children to their various activities.
She is survived by her husband, LeeRoy; three daughters, Marta Kay Conant and husband Don; Vicki Stowe; ReDawna Heckart and husband Rod; one son, Jim Chastain; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two children, LeReta and baby girl; two grandchildren Teddie Stowe and Jason Brown; son-in-law, Freddie Stowe; one sister, Thelma Palmer; three brothers, Woody Edwards, Robert Edwards and Alfred Edwards.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 17, 2008 at Capitol Hill Assembly of God located at 2400 SW 74th, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Interment to follow at Czech National Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
