GILBERT Dorothy M., 63, passed away Dec. 20, 2000. She was born to Jim and Audra McClure in Ft. Cobb, OK on Sept. 3, 1937.
Dorothy was a pastor's wife for 30 years. She worked in the Stewardship Dept. of the Resource Development Center in Bethany, the world headquarters of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She served on the Women's Minsitries Board of the Heartland Conference for 20 years, and as President of Women's Ministries for 11 years. She was a member of Northwest Christian Center.
She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Lloyd McClure, Howard McClure, and daughter, JoAnn Plumtree.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Gilbert, Sr.; son, Daniel Gilbert, Jr., Prague, OK; sisters, Margariet Ezzell & husband A.C., Elmore City, OK, and Vera Simmons & husband Glen, Tonkawa, OK; brothers, Cecil McClure & wife Marie, Apache, OK, Vernon McClure & wife Nellie, Clinton, OK; Marvin McClure & wife Blanche, Apache, OK, Jim McClure & wife Marjorie, Moore, OK, and Bill McClure & wife Patrice, Elgin, OK; granddaughter, Amber Grishman & husband David, and great grandson, David.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 22, at Mercer - Adams Chapel, with interment at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
