Kathy Barnes

Kathy Barnes, was taken by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 20, 2006. Kathy was born May 22, 1917. She is survived by her children, Dorothy Hawkins and husband Bill of OKC, Charles Long and wife Linda of Alta Vista, KS, Jim Long of Elkton, MD, Bob Long and wife Nancy of Lawrenceville, GA, and Stepson Larry Barnes and wife Nancy, of Bethany, OK, and 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers, Ralph Long, father of her children, and L.D. Barnes. Kathy was a longtime resident of Bethany and enjoyed working in her church. She enjoyed cooking for meals on wheels, her Tuesday morning ladies group, and helping with the church paper. Kathy will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Western Oaks Christian Church. Services will be Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at 10 am, at Western Oaks Christian Church with interment at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
