Graveside services for Cleta Fay Bonner were held at Welty Cemetery in Welty, OK on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Serving as officiant was Pastor Will Gordon (who is also Cleta's Brother) of Northside Worship Center in Henryetta, OK. Services arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Bristow, OK. Condolences may be made online at www.michaelsfuneralservices.com.

Cleta Faye Bonner was born in Okfuskee County, OK (at home) on January 22, 1935 to the late Horace Chilton Gordon and Virgie Lee (Davis) Gordon. She passed from this life in Tulsa, OK on March 6, 2016 at the age of 81 years, 1 month, & 13 days. She was raised & educated in Mason, OK. Cleta was united in marriage to the late Carl Clayton Bonner on December 14, 1953 in Bristow, OK at the age of 18. They spent several years in Redrock, OK and then returned to Castle, OK were she had resided for the last fifty years. Cleta had a passion for singing and playing a guitar. She enjoyed telling stories about her childhood days and you could bet on her always enjoying being the boss! In addition to both parents, and her husband, Cleta was preceded in death by 2 SISTERS: JoAnn Christensen and Kathy Fern Gordon; 1 BROTHER: Hershel Gordon; 1 DAUGHTER: Carla Faye; and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

Those left to mourn her passing include HER 2 DAUGHTERS: Melinda Lindsey & husband Wayne of Castle, OK and Janie Montgomery & husband Cub of Okemah, OK; 6 GRANDCHILDREN; Keith Bear, Clayton Lindsey, Tabatha Lindsey, Gary Montgomery, Chip Montgomery and Dale Montgomery: 20 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN & 3 GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Also numerous other relatives & friends.
