Edith Jane Adams was born on October 26, 1936, in Booneville, MS, and departed this life on Thursday, October 6, 2005, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 68.

She retired in 1997 from the U. S. Civil Service. Edith and Billy Joe had moved to Alaska in 1965 where they enjoyed the wonders of nature and outdoor adventures. Following their retirements, they moved back to Paden to enjoy fellowship with family and friends.
