Funeral services were held Nov. 25 at Evergreen Washelli Chapel, Seattle, WA. For Carmi A. Bruton.
Mr. Bruton was born Sep 13, 1934 to Alfonzo and Imogene Bruton, the eldest of five siblings.
He graduated from Clearview high and was drafted into the U. S. Army in March 1957, where he worked as a mechanical assistant until being honorably discharged in 1958 for being the only surviving son. During his tour of duty he traveled to many parts of Europe.
Mr. Bruton worked at various companies as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement in 1999. He began working as a school bus driver where he remained until he was unable to work.
He married Patricia Franklin in the early seventies and to the union two sons were born.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Patricia, of the home, two sons, Carmi Jr., and Ernest; a daughter Sandra Flower; five sisters, Betty (Frank) Wilson, Washington, Minnie (Jack) Flowers, Erthelene (John) Scott, Marjorie Plunkett and Janyce Laskey, all of Oklahoma; Wynell Crawford, honoray sister of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Internment was held in Washington under the direction of Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home.
