Betty Crawford, 79 year old Mooreland resident died Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Woodward. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Weleetka, Oklahoma. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Betty Jane (Burleson) Crawford was born on February 7, 1936 in Okemah, Oklahoma to John Thurman and Jane (Gibson) Burleson. Betty grew up in Southeast Oklahoma and attended school there. She was united in marriage to Donald Leon Crawford on February 25, 1956 in Weleetka, Oklahoma and they made their home in Dustin, Oklahoma. Betty worked in retail business at TG&Y and Wal-Mart stores.

She is survived by her three sons; Dan Crawford and wife Julie of Mooreland, Don Crawford and wife Janet of Spring, Texas, Billy Crawford and wife Marnee of Cody, Wyoming; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three brothers; John Edward Burleson, Bill Burleson, and Jimmy Burleson; sister in law, Joan Bowen; brother in law, Junior Bachus; other relatives and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Leon.
