Funeral services were held on June 10 at the Clearview Community Center for Oliver Reynolds French.

Mr. French was born April 27, 1944 in Clearview to Elvia Reynolds and died June3 at the age of 62.

He joined the Methodist church at a young age and later married Theaster Dulan in Oklahoma City. During his early years he was a base guitarist for one Oklahoma City’s local bands, He worked at the Marriott Residence Inn in Norman for many years as maintenance chief engineer.

Survivors include his mother, Elvia Bush of Clearview, aunt, Lydia Martin of Clearview; Sister Bobbie (Al) Patillo, Chicago, IL. JoAnn (Joe) Mitchell, Bellville, IL., and Helen (Peter) Bush, Midwest City; Brothers, Joe Clark, Clearview and Ruben (Gwen) Clark, Springfield, Il.; and niece, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Interment was in the Clearview Cemetery under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home.
