James Glen Zickefoose, 78, of Collinsville, OK, a very special father, grandfather, great-grandfather that had unconditional love, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 in Tulsa. He was born May 19, 1940 in Sapulpa, OK to Ned Glenn and Vertle Inez (Adams) Zickefoose. He had lived in Collinsville since 1968. He retired from the Tulsa Fire Department after 20 years, in 1986, where he was also a member of the Scuba Team. After retirement, he worked for O.C.T. Equipment for 10 years. He owned his own construction company.
A celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Fallis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be to Oklahoma Fire Fighters Burn Camp.
He is survived by his wife Patty Joann (Bailey) Zickefoose. 2 children: Trish Roddy and her husband Chris of Lakeland, TN and Glenda Guest and her husband Phillip of Collinsville. 4 grandchildren: Jeremy Guest, Sarah Roddy Mitchell and her husband Brian, Matthew Roddy and his wife Katilyn and Zachery Guest. 2 great-grandchildren: Skylar Mitchell and Jackson Mitchell. He is also survived by 2 brothers: Robert Zickefoose and his wife Marilyn and Chuck Zickefoose and his wife Kathy, and 2 sisters: Helen Gilreath and her husband Terry and Alice Downs and her husband Thomas.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: Tom Zickefoose.
