Lewis Ralph Young, born November 12, 1961, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 31, 2019. He was surrounded by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loyce Ralph Young.
Those left to mourn his passing, include his Mother, Florene Young of the home near Westville, OK, siblings: Joey Young of Proctor, OK, Grover Young of Proctor, Janice Edgemon of Piney, OK, Nita Parret of Ballard, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to his loyal friend, Dustin Stevens and brother-in- law, Alan Parret for all they did. Thank you to Emerald Hospice and the nice Doctors and Nurses who took care of him. We wish to also express our gratitude to everyone for the food and prayers.
Lewis enjoyed hunting, fishing and looking for arrowheads. He also enjoyed listening to football and baseball on the radio. He was a St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys fan.
He worked many jobs and enjoyed his years spent working for the Snyder’s Farms, L & S Feedmill, Vaughn Sawmill and Hudson Farms.
Lewis loved animals of all sizes. He had a gift for taming wild kittens and bringing them home. He also had a passion for Cardinals and loved feeding them. Lewis also enjoyed watching rodeo on television, which he did every Sunday.
He will be missed greatly and he will be loved always.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Roberts & Hart Funeral Home ~ Westville, OK.
