Reta Ruth (Collett) York
July 15, 1937 ~ July 4, 2019

Funeral services for Reta Ruth York, 81, Enid resident, will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Maine Church of the Nazarrene with Pastor Tom Pullin officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Reta was born on July 15, 1937 in Oklahoma City, the daughter of John and Ruth Smith Collett, and passed away suddenly on July 4, 2019 in Enid.

She lived in Guthrie, Guymon, and Miami, Oklahoma; later moving to Los Alamos and Pueblo, Colorado, moving to Enid in 1993. Reta graduated from Guthrie High School with the class of 1956. She attended two years at Otero Junior College in Colorado. Reta married Delbert York on December 18, 1956 in Kingfisher. Reta was a foster grandmother for twelve years, a member of Maine Church of The Nazarene, and Rebekah Lodge #21. Survivors include her daughter Tanya Larimore of Enid, and Joyce Dobbyn of Arizona; son, Dale York of Texas; 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.

Reta was preceded in passing by her husband, parents, three daughters, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
