Terry Doyle Yell was born February 6, 1963 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Ella Faye and Justin Doyle Yell. He passed away August 7, 2016 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years, 6 months and 1 day.
Terry grew up in Oklahoma City, Yukon and Sayre, Oklahoma with his family. During his early 20's he began raising chickens and actually won the Tri-State Fair in Amarillo, Texas with his Island Red rooster where he also won Best of Breed, Best American, Grand Champion and 1st place on September 30, 1987. Terry was an accomplished bowler and won a coveted ABC (American Bowling Congress) 299 gold ring for only being one pin from bowling the perfect game. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, babysitting the nieces and nephews and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Ella Faye Myers, Sayre, OK; brothers and sisters, Bill Yell and wife, Darla, Elk City, OK, Sherry Thompson and husband, John, Elk City, OK and Jim Yell and wife, Kathy, Yukon, OK; nieces and nephews, Renae Yell, Austin Yell, Billye Roman and husband, DJ, Terri Dixon and husband, Chase, Koty Yell, Justin Yell and Mariah, Rilee Yell, Jacklyn Ellis and husband, James and Deedra Thompson and Bobby. He is also survived by a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
