Jericho Wynos

Jericho Wynos
June 8, 1975 ~ October 14, 2020

Jericho Wynos, son of Brenda Butler and Jerry Wynos was born June 8, 1975 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He departed this life on October 14, 2020 at his home in Cookson, Oklahoma.

Jericho was a proud member of the Cherokee/Menominee Tribe. He was of the Baptist faith and was baptized at the age of 16. He was a laborer of landscaping and worked for Greenleaf Nursery. One of his favorite past times was grilling for his family, especially decorating the house for the holidays. His all-time favorite past time was loving, and spending time with his kids.

He was proceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Eliza Sanders and his "Big Dudda" Johnnie R. Sanders Sr., and his paternal grandparents: Bernice and Charlie Doublehead.

Jericho is survived by a very loving family that includes: his mother Brenda Butler of Cookson, OK; his father Jerry Wynos and wife Mary of Stilwell; his precious children: son: Eric Matthew Wynos and girlfriend Brianna of Farmington, AR, daughter: Cynthia Hair-Wynos of Claremore, OK, daughter: Jasmine Wynos of Prairie Grove, AR, son: Doxy “Doc” Bates-Wynos of Flute Springs, son: Jonathan Bear Wynos of Flute Springs, and daughter: Emily Jeanine Wynos of Flute Springs; siblings: Jamie “Bubba” Hicks of Cherry Tree, Naomi Sanders and husband Frankie of Stilwell, OK, Elisha Harrison and husband Jeffery of Texas, Brian Butler and wife Paula of Texas; a special nephew: Littlefox Sanders; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive him.
