Darline (Daniel) Wynne

June 28, 1940 ~ July 13, 2018

Darline Wynne, age 78, of Newcastle, Oklahoma passed away Friday, July 13, 2018, at Norman Regional Hospital. She was born June 28, 1940, in Newcastle and lived there most of her life.  

Darline was the oldest of six children born to Roy Edgar Daniel and Jesse Mae (Allen) Daniel. She graduated from Newcastle High School with the class of 1957.   A year and a half later, on December 20, 1958 in Fox, Oklahoma, Darline married the love of her life, Donnie Ray Wynne. Together they raised two children, Johnny and Darla. For the past forty years, Darline and Donnie owned and operated Wynne's Feed and Seed Store with their son. She was proud to live in Newcastle and a huge supporter of the Newcastle FFA. She also was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Newcastle.

Darline was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She liked to travel, enjoyed shopping and loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by:
Parents,     Roy and Jesse Daniel;
Sister,       Lorene Brown.

She is survived by:
Husband,            Donnie Wynne of the home in Newcastle.
Son,                     Johnny Wynne and wife Karen of Newcastle.
Daughter,            Darla Allen and husband Stan of Newcastle.
Two sisters,         Eva Jo Bolles and husband Stanley of Newcastle,
                             Joy Hammons and husband Sam of Edmond,
Two brothers,     Tommie Daniel and wife Becky of Newcastle,
                             Leeroy Daniel and wife Tammie of Dibble,
Mother-in-law,   Juanita Wynne of Newcastle,
Four grandchildren,     Jake Wynne and wife Elizabeth of Tuttle,
                                      Colton Wynne and wife Amber of Newcastle,
                             Shawna (Allen) Dooley and husband Jake of Omega,
                             Cheyenne "Ty" Allen and wife Molly of Edmond.
Six great grandchildren,       Sadie, Wyatt, Nash and Hayes Wynne, Skylar and Landree Dooley
and one great grandson on the way, William Allen.
Also several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 17th 2018 at the First Baptist Church, Newcastle, OK.

  The family will receive friends on Monday evening, July 16th from 6-8pm at Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle, OK.
