Rickie Breckner-Wright, 79 year old Woodward resident, passed away Wednesday January 29, 2025 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 10, 2025 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel.
Rickie Lynn Breckner-Wright was born to John and Lois (Foster) Breckner on December 14, 1945 in Shattuck, Oklahoma. She grew up in Shattuck and Woodward. She attended and graduated from Woodward High School. She was united into marriage to Guy Wright in Millington, Tennessee. The couple made their home in Millington and later moved to San Francisco, California before settling in Woodward.
Rickie worked in registration at the Woodward Hospital for many years. She enjoyed her dolls, jewelry, helping those in need, being around her friends and dogs but most importantly spending time with those she loved.
Rickie was, is and always will be in our hearts. A good woman who loved God and had a pure heart and soul, will always be the ray of sunshine no matter the gloom with just her smile.
Rickie is survived by her husband, Guy Wright of the home; sons Bobby Warnick, Darrell Wright and fiancé Lena Spoonemore; brother, Terry Breckner, Larry Joe Breckner and wife Dorrie; sisters, Kay Cordero and husband Stan, Cathy Clemens and husband Alan, LaVauna Beaver; three grandchildren, Noel, Traevon and Ashton; and many other relatives and friends.
