Johnny W. Wright, 81, Kansas City, MO, died Friday, June 16, 2017 at Brookdale at Rosehill. Graveside Services will be on June 30th at 10:00 am, at the National Cemetery, 105 Muncie Rd., Leavenworth KS.
Johnny was born June 19, 1935, in Bentonville, AR. He lived in Enid, OK and the Oklahoma City area for a number of years and had lived the remainder of his life in the Kansas City area. He was a Brick Mason by trade and was an Army Veteran. Johnny was a member of Missouri Shuffleboard Players Association and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2011.
Johnny is survived by his son, John Wright and daughter Brenda Kay Baugh, Brother Jimmy Wright of Bradenton, FL and Sister Donna Larson of Excelsior Springs, MO. Four grandchildren Billie Short, Justen Wright, Sean Wright and Kristen Wright, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Keith D. Wright and a sister Patricia Hutchings.
