Jennie Faye (Crittenden) Wright
July 28, 1945 ~ September 23, 2024

Jennie Faye (Crittenden) Wright was born Monday, July 28th, 1945 in Tuscumbia, Alabama to Thomas Lee Crittenden and Bertha Mae (Rogers) Crittenden. Jennie passed from this life on Monday, September 23rd, 2024 in Durant surrounded by her loving family.

Jennie attended schools in Alabama and Texas and came to Durant in December of 1999. She worked in Electronics and was a babysitter for many years and a passionate caregiver to many family members throughout her life. Jennie's interests were porcelain and ceramics and she loved all kids. She was a member of the Toastmasters Club and the First Baptist Church in Durant.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Thomas Crittenden Jr., Lee Oneal Crittenden, and Sidney Crittenden; and sister Lila Marie Randolph.

She is survived by her loving sons, Blake Wright and his wife, Shelly of Durant, and Jeff Wright of Durant and Shawna of McKinney, TX; grandsons Alexander Wright and wife, Jade and their son Oliver of McKinney, TX, Michael Wright of McKinney, TX, Jacob Wright of McKinney, TX, Holden Wright and his wife, Elizabeth and their son Quincy and their daughter Emry of Durant, and Landry Wright and his wife, Jaysa and their daughter Lyla of Durant; sister Jewell Fenell and her husband, Mike of Crockett, TX, brother Billy Crittenden and his wife, Marty of Houston, TX, sister Deborah Alford and her husband, Sidney (deceased) of Crockett, TX; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Friday, September 27th, at Brown’s Funeral Home chapel in Durant. This will be an opportunity for Jennie’s family to greet guests during this time.

Inurnment services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 28th, at Fennell Garden of Memories 494 Private Road 5150 Crockett, Texas 75835.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to please donate in Jennie's memory to the First Baptist Church 124 Evergreen St. Durant, OK 74701.
