Jack Wright

November 28, 1928 ~ 1997

Jack Wright of Macomb died Tuesday at the age of 68.

He was born November 28, 1928, in Norman to Chester Jack and Beth Lillian {Pettit} Hatchell.

He married Bernice Howard on October 12, 1972, in San Bernardino, California.

He was reared in San Bernardino, California, and had lived in Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana. He had moved to Macomb five years ago.

He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps and was a carpenter, from framer to finisher.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice Wright, of the home; stepson, Matthew Tillet, Little Axe; three sons, Michael Wright, Boulder, Nevada; Wendell Wright, Little Axe; Gregory Wright, California; granddaughter, Karie Wheeler, Houston, Texas; stepgrandchildren, Randy and Joshua Tillet, Norwich, Connecticut; Luke Tillet, Little Axe; Heather Lynn Tillet, Little Axe, and other relatives and friends.

His mother and one sister preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
