Eddie Gene Wright
September 15, 1952 ~ April 30, 2017

Eddie Gene Wright, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born September 15, 1952, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life April 30, 2017, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 64 years. 

He was the son of Rev. Edward and Louise (Chandler) Wright. Eddie married Laura Stankewitz in 2007, in Colorado. He had retired from General Motors, having worked as a Millwright for many years. Eddie then worked for the Oklahoma County Sheriff Department with their dive team. He was member of the First United Methodist Church in Chandler, a life-time member of the Methodist Men, and a member of the Chandler Masonic Lodge #58, also he was very active with Relay for Life. 

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents. 

Survivors include, his wife, Laura of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Audra and Amir Chamhidray of Oklahoma City, Rorie and Evan Miller of Baker, Montana, and Joslyn Wright of Chandler, Oklahoma; one son and daughter-in-law, Damon and Krista Wright of Bixby, Oklahoma; one sister and brother-in-law, Gena and Stephen Goodson of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. 

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in Chandler Oklahoma, with Rev. Allan Carson officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
