Dianne Marie (Pedigo) Wright

Dianne Marie (Pedigo) Wright
February 5, 1954 ~ July 12, 2025

In loving remembrance, we gather to celebrate the life of Dianne Marie Wright, a vibrant spirit who graced our lives from February 5, 1954, until her serene departure on July 12, 2025. Born in Stockton, California, Dianne carried with her the joy of life that ignited every room she entered. She was an extraordinary woman, not just for her accomplishments, but for the infectious sweetness she shared with all who crossed her path.

Dianne, a dedicated manager at a clothing manufacturing plant, exemplified hard work and commitment. Her career was not just a job; it was a testament to her will to create and contribute, shaping a legacy that will echo through the generations. Her education at Tonkawa High School, where she proudly played basketball, instilled values of teamwork and perseverance that she cherished throughout her life.

Her radiant personality was best captured by her enduring smile and her love for the color purple—a hue that symbolized her spirited nature. Friends and family knew her for the joy she infused in every encounter, always ready with a warm laugh or a supporting hand. Dianne’s passion for crocheting and crafting blossomed into more than a hobby; it was her way of weaving warmth into the lives of those around her. Each thread she deftly worked into her crafts held the stories of her heart, echoing her loving spirit.

Dianne leaves behind a tapestry of enduring love, woven with countless cherished memories among her beloved family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Melburn Wright, who remains at their home, alongside her daughters, Wendy O'Drain and her husband Patrick from Ponca City, and Misty Steers from Tonkawa. Her son, Brian Bufford, resides in Tonkawa with his wife, Kimberly, while her daughter Ginger Nicols, along with her husband Jason, calls Sulfur home. The abundance of her legacy is evident in her host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews who carry forth her joyful spirit. Two sisters, Judy and Brenda Pedigo, also remain, forever touched by her love.

Yet, in the fabric of her life, we acknowledge the void left by those who have crossed over. Dianne reunites with her father, William Lee Pedigo, and mother, Arlene Mae Nelson Pedigo, alongside her daughter Tamera Casner, reconnecting in an embrace full of love that transcends time and space.

As we bid farewell to Dianne, let us not focus on the sorrow of her departure but instead embrace the radiant legacy of love and joy she imparted. She brightened our worlds with her laughter, her sweet nature, and her penchant for all things purple. May we carry forth the lessons of her unyielding spirit and continue to cherish the warmth of her memory as we navigate the paths she carved with such grace.
