July 19, 1950 ~ May 13, 2014

ENID, Okla. - Funeral service for Danny Joe Wright Sr., 63, of Enid, will be Friday, May 16, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Service and cremation are under the kind guidance of Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Danny was born July 19, 1950, in Enid, the son of Cecil and Belva Beard Wright, and passed away peacefully on May 13, 2014 in Enid.

He was raised and educated in Enid.

Danny was a lifelong trucker, teaming with his brother, Terry, and later teaming up with his wife, the former Cheryl GayLynn McGill.

Danny loved NASCAR and drag races, as well as Western shows.

Survivors include Danny�s wife, Cheryl of the residence; children, Shannon Wright, Lisa Wright-Dodd, and Angie White, Tamra Ward and Jessica Stepp, and LaJeanna Downs; brothers, Terry (Mary) Wright and Ricky (Christy) Wright; sisters, Linda Allison and Penny Smith; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
