Sonya was born on July 5, 1958 in Enid to Floyd and Hazel (Chapman) O’Banion and passed away on January 15, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.
She grew up in Enid and attended Enid High School. On March 12, 1976, she married Thomas Worth and they made their home in Enid. Sonya was an elevator operator at Broadway Towers for over 30 years. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel O’Banion; husband, Thomas Worth; sister, Rosetta May O’Banion; grandparents, Ruby and Glen Chapman.
Sonya is survived by her son and wife, Jeffrey and Amy Worth; four grandchildren, Emily (Caleb) Riggs, Hannah (Kyle) Kennedy, Strawdie Worth and Zachary Worth; great grandson, Bentley Kennedy; father, Floyd O’Banion; sisters, Debbie Patton and Cindy Waltman; other relatives and friends.
