Dennis Dale Workman

Dennis Dale Workman
July 26, 1956 ~ August 10, 2022

Dennis Dale Workman was born July 26, 1956 to Calvin and Sarah (Unger) Workman. He departed this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 10, 2022.

On April 18, 1986 Dennis married Susie Kimble. Over the 36 years they built a life filled with love, memories, and family that includes 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and several special people that he loved as if they were his own.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Daryl Workman, and one son Lewis Lee Workman.

He leaves behind his wife Susie of the home, daughter Alicen McIntyre (Wylie), son Michael Workman (Trish), son Adam Workman, and daughter Bethany Martin (Caleb). Grandchildren: Kaleb, Gavin, Thea, Sanya (Lane),Bree,Jesse, and Colton ; one Sister Carolyn Alexander (Phil) and three brothers Leo Workman (Pam), Mike Workman, and Norman Workman (Sherri). He also leaves a host of family and good friends. Dennis never met a stranger and if he did, they usually weren’t strangers for long.

Dennis worked at Stilwell Foods for over 30 years, holding several different positions in the plant before embracing a life of retirement. Over the years Dennis had a few hobbies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, and reading a good western book. He was almost always up for a spontaneous adventure or a trip down a road he’d never been on. He looked forward to summer camping trips to Brushy Lake for some good crappie fishing. He loved spending time with his family and those Grandbabies. If you gave him a good cup of coffee, you could always count on him to have a good story to tell and when he got ready to leave, he’d always quote ‘See you in the movies’.

Services were under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
