Memorial services for Charles E. Wooldridge 69, of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday Nov. 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the Bible Baptist Church.
Charles E. Wooldridge was born Oct. 6, 1941 the son of Raymond and Maudie Frizell and Charlie and Gretchen Wooldridge. He died Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 in Oklahoma City.
Charles was raised in Maysville graduating from Maysville High School in 1959, after High School Charles helped construct the H.E. Bailey Turnpike, soon after he was employed with Rainbow Bread and Johnson wrecker. He then attended electrician school and started employment with Perdue Housing. In the 1970's he opened his own heating and cooling business which he named Charlie's Heat & Air.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, spending time with grandchildren and especially great grandchildren. His great pleasure and comfort was family and friends. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
He is preceded in death by both sets of parents and sister Ruby Mohr.
Survivors include Maxine Roberts of the home; Son Chuck; daughter and son-in-law Nita and James Still; daughter Alice; son Duane Parry; grandchildren Michael, Joey, and Megan; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers please send contributions for your favor charity.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
