William Edward Woods, known to his family and friends as Bill, passed away on Friday morning, Dec. 30, 2005 in Cushing at the age of 63 years.
The son of the late Edward Joseph Woods and Irene Mary LeBlanc, Bill was born on Sept. 22, 1942 in New Market, New Hampshire, and was reared and educated in the Dover, New Hampshire area.
Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy and had worked as a roofer and carpenter.
He enjoyed fishing, wood-working and drinking coffee in the morning at Shepherd�s.
Survivors include one daughter Billie Michelle Jackson of Florida; one sister Doris Myers and her husband James of Cushing; one brother George Woods of Stuarts Draft, Virginia; two grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Marie Woods; two brothers Robert and Renee' Woods.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2006 at 10 A.M. in the Council Valley Baptist Church with Reverend Larry Lehr, pastor, officiating.
