A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. August 21, 2017, at Oakwood Christian Church.

Jerry was born June 8, 1939, to Lela Mae (Evans) Woods in Alva, and was reunited with his wife August 9, 2017, at the age of 78 at his home in Enid, with his family at his side.

Jerry married Teresa Allen on January 14, 1961. Two children, Allen and Lisa, were born from this union.

Jerry was employed at Enid Typewriter Company for 38 years, retiring in September 2007. He was active in Lions Clubs International, serving with the Garber and North Enid Clubs.

Jerry was proceeded in death by his wife Teresa, his mother, sister, two brothers, and a great grandson.

He is survived by his son Allen Woods, daughter Lisa Torres, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to your local Lions Club, Furever Friends Rescue, or a charity of your choice.
